Fallout 4 the brotherhood of steel

He's brazen, to be sure, but a good leader. He feels like a successor to Owyn Lyons, who sort of helped raise him. And Sarah is still a year younger than the Sole Survivor so…potential romance? Keep in mind that with the new Brotherhood is overthrown, Danse is unavailable. It's not Sarah because she becomes a potential follower. He still has all those character building encounters in this version, like the deathclaw and Shepherd. I think that in this situation, Arthur could take his place as Elder. If the new Brotherhood wins, the plot just goes on as normal. I don't know if you should be able to lose a battle/the war, but leave your thoughts in the comments. There'd have to be a few battles and then a huge battle to end this war, unless you just kill the entirety of either side yourself. At this point, you can either kill them all – which is difficult at any level – join them and overthrow the current Brotherhood, or help the new Brotherhood destroy them. You find Sarah Lyons, Arthur Maxson, and many Loyalists to the original Capital Wasteland chapter. At some point, you're sent to investigate a group of people in Lyons' Pride power armor. That's because the Brotherhood in this version has a civil war subplot. They're essentially the same as the actual version in Fallout 4, just without Maxson. Danse would be among the new Brotherhood. It would have to be a new character, because there aren't any pre-existing, named Outcasts that are alive or fit the role. This means that Sarah doesn't die the same year, and is instead exiled, along with Arthur Maxson, who stands by Sarah during the coup because he has a crush on her.īy the time of Fallout 4, a former Outcast is the Elder of the East Coast Chapter. See, in my version, the radical Outcasts, like those depicted in Operation: Anchorage, grouped up and overthrew Lyons' Pride when Elder Lyons died. Assuming we want the Brotherhood to come from the Capital Wasteland, I think it should be the Outcasts who enter the Commonwealth. You can do plenty of interesting things with it. When the most interesting thing about a faction is one guy who's also a follower, there's something wrong. Granted, this doesn't have to necessarily be a bad thing, but it wasn't taken very deep in this game. In Fallout 4, they're just the same as the main Western Brotherhood: racist and selfish. And in New Vegas, they were trapped underground by a man who just wanted to keep his family safe, but didn't realize that he was hurting them just as badly by doing so. They were dealing with the consequences of trying to do the right thing.

In Fallout 3, they were a rogue splinter faction of the true Brotherhood. This is because there's nothing really interesting about them in this game.

I think the Brotherhood was fine in Fallout 4, but I think I could do it better.
